Privacy Policy

Account information: your name, email address, password (stored only as a secure hash), and timezone.

Scheduling and lesson information: your bookings, lesson history, assigned teachers, and study-material assignments.

Payment information: when you buy a package, payment is processed by Stripe. We receive a confirmation and a record of the purchase, but we do not store your full card number.

Basic technical information needed to keep you signed in and to operate the app securely.

To create your account, schedule and deliver lessons and coaching calls, apply and track lesson credits, send you transactional emails (receipts, booking confirmations, reschedule/cancel notices), and provide support.

We do not sell your personal information.

We share information with providers that help us run the service, only as needed: Supabase (database and authentication), Stripe (payments), Postmark (transactional email), and Vercel (hosting).

If you choose to connect Google Calendar, we use Google's APIs to add your sessions to your calendar; you can disconnect at any time.

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to operate the app. We do not use them for third-party advertising.

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal and accounting obligations.

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing support@language-monk.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data.

Language Monk is intended for adults and for minors using the service with the involvement of a parent or guardian. It is not directed to children under 13.

We may update this policy; the effective date above reflects the latest version.
